Product release 3.16.0 (March Updates)

Major improvements to the Library (Digital Asset Library), AI-powered search, and content governance tools.

Updated this week

Release 3.16 introduces major improvements to the Digital Asset Library, AI-powered search, and content governance tools. This update helps teams organize assets faster, maintain compliance, and discover content instantly.

Library 2.0

The Cliquify Digital Asset Library has been upgraded with smarter upload processing, improved metadata management, and faster asset organization tools.

Upload Assets Improvements

When uploading files, Cliquify now automatically analyzes assets to improve organization and governance.

Duplicate Detection

Cliquify automatically detects duplicate files during upload.

Benefits

  • Prevent duplicate content in the library

  • Reduce storage usage

  • Keep media libraries clean and organized

Duplicate files are flagged during upload so users can remove them before saving.

Face Detection

Our AI now detects faces in uploaded images and videos.

What this enables

  • Identifies individuals appearing in media

  • Helps teams ensure consent and compliance

  • Triggers privacy workflows when faces are detected

This is particularly useful for employee stories, recruitment campaigns, and employer branding media.

Improved Image Preview Experience

The asset preview interface has been enhanced to provide more information and faster navigation.

Enhancements include

  • Larger asset preview

  • Editable descriptions

  • AI and manual tags visibility

  • Usage rights information

  • Quick metadata editing

This makes reviewing and approving assets significantly easier.

New Image Metadata Fields

To improve asset governance, new metadata fields have been introduced.

New metadata attributes include

  • Status (Approved, Need Review, In Progress, On Hold)

  • Creation Date

  • Usage Rights

  • Usage Expiry Date

  • Data Subjects

  • Tags

These fields help organizations:

  • Manage asset lifecycle

  • Track content permissions

  • Maintain brand and legal compliance

📂 Assign Groups to Folders

You can now control who can access specific folders in the Cliquify Library by assigning them to user groups. This helps ensure that the right teams see the right content while maintaining governance and brand consistency.

Bulk Asset Multi-Tagging

Users can now apply tags to multiple assets simultaneously.

Benefits

  • Organize large libraries faster

  • Maintain consistent tagging structure

  • Improve asset discoverability

Simply select multiple assets and apply tags in bulk.

Assign Media Folders to Templates

Templates can now be configured to access specific media folders from the Library, ensuring that only approved assets appear when creating content.

This feature helps organizations maintain brand consistency and governance by restricting which images, videos, or media files can be used within each template.

AI-Based Global Search

Cliquify now supports AI-powered natural language search across the platform.

Users can search using everyday language, such as:

  • “employee testimonial videos”

  • “office culture photos”

  • “diversity workplace images”
