Upcoming Releases: Planned For August 31, 2026

Planned Releases on August 31

Hello Admins and Creators! We are excited to announce four updates that are planned to go live on August 31.

  1. Ability to post LinkedIn carousels.

  2. Draft Template Designs Moving To “My Designs.”

  3. Visual refresh for Template Collections.

  4. New views in the Content Planner.

Here's what's changing and what it means for your team.

Share a Carousel Post to LinkedIn

Starting 31 Aug, users can post a multi-image LinkedIn post as a carousel instead of a static image grid. If your design has more than one image or page, you can choose exactly how it shows up in your LinkedIn post.

How it works

1. Select the template you want to share on LinkedIn, Select the LinkedIn account you want to post to or click on download button below, which will help you download the template.

2. Once LinkedIn is selected, you'll see a choice between Image and Carousel near the top of the LinkedIn post panel.

3. When Image post is selected, all of your selected designs are posted as a single LinkedIn update, shown as a photo grid people can click through.

Example below:

4. When Carousel post is selected, the designs show up as a swipe, page-by-page carousel, with each design as its own page ad a page counter (like "1 of 6 pages") at the top. See example sample below.

Example below:

6. Write your caption, add your link and hashtags, same as any other post.

7. Depending on the user’s account setup, users will either see Send for Approval (if your organization has approvals turned on for the group that the user belongs to) or Publish with a Now / Scheduled option (if no approval is required before posting).

Who can do what

  • Creators and Admins can build the template with multiple designs or pages to support carousels.

  • Users can select an existing multi-page template and post it, choosing Image or Carousel at the sharing stage.

Tip

Carousel tends to perform better (up to 2-3x more reach compared to static image posts) for anything with a sequence or a story to tell, like a "day in the life" set or a multi-step announcement, since it invites people to swipe rather than just glance at a grid. If your designs work fine as a stand-alone grab-and-go set, image keeps it simpler.

Draft Designs for Admins & Creators Move from “Enterprise Templates” to My Designs”

Today, designs created by Admins or Creators that are still in draft, meaning the work isn't finished yet is stays in the Enterprise Templates section causing unnecessary clutter for all admins and creators. Starting Aug 31, all drafts created by Admins and Creators will be only visible in the “My Designs” section to minimize clutter for all Admins and Creators in Enterprise Templates.

Why we're making this change

Templates should represent finished work. When drafts and active templates sit side by side, it's easy to lose track of which designs are actually ready for users to use and which are still being built. Moving drafts to My Designs keeps that distinction clear.

Who this affects

  • Admins and Creators will see their own draft designs move to My Designs.

  • Users are not affected by this change, since Users don't create Enterprise Templates.

This is a location/visibility change only — no content is deleted, and nothing about how you edit or finish a draft is different. Your existing drafts will carry over automatically to My Designs.

Tip:

If you can't find a design you were working on after August 31, check “My Designs” first — that's the new home for anything still in draft stage

See screenshot below to help you locate “My Designs” on the “Templates” page.

New Look for Template Collections

Your Template Collections are getting a visual refresh. Nothing about how collections work is changing, just how they look on screen.

What's changing

Right now, each collection in the Template Collections view shows up as a stack of thumbnail images arranged in a small grid.

Each collection card will show one large preview image instead, with the template count and collection name displayed underneath, and a status badge in the corner

What stays the same

  • The number of templates in each collection

  • How you open a collection and browse templates inside it

  • Where Template Collections lives in the navigation

This is a layout update only. No action is needed on your end, your existing collections and templates will carry over automatically.

New Content Planner: Timeline, Board, and List Views

Starting Aug 31, Content Planner will gives admins three new ways to view your calendar on top of the classic month grid, so you can plan a single campaign or map out a multi-month campaign in whatever layout makes the most sense for your team.

What's new

1. Timeline view gives teams a big-picture workspace to map out campaigns and initiatives across weeks or months, showing how individual events connect to and build on the larger effort they belong to.

2. List view gives teams a straightforward workspace to view, sort, and manage every event on the planner at once, covering who created it, when it's scheduled, and which group it belongs to.

3. CLEO AI content ideas, now available everywhere. The sparkle icon next to Add Event pulls up Cleo's AI-generated content suggestions from any of the four views, not just Calendar.

4. Calendar event view works the same as before. Adding an event works the same way it always has, Admins can create or edit new events, Creators and Users can view the planner and access the templates associated with each event but won't see the option to edit or add an event.

Look out for a future enhancement to the content planner view:

Board View for Content Planner

Board view gives teams a visual workspace to plan, create, coordinate, and track every activity surrounding an event, from initial ideas and content creation through publishing and post-event engagement.

Events move across four columns — Idea, In-progress, Ready, and Published, so your team can see where every piece of content stands at a glance.

Who can do what:

  • Admins can create new events from Board view.

  • Creators and Users can view Board view but won't see the option to add an event, consistent with the other Content Planner views.
