Navigate to Custom tags
From the left navigation panel, click on the Brand-kit and followed by "Custom Tags"
Enter Reorder Mode
Click on Reorder
Hover over the tag list or a tag item.
A drag handle icon (⋮⋮) will appear on the right of each tag (usually indicated with vertical dots).
Reorder Tags
Click and hold the drag handle next to the tag you want to move.
Drag it up or down to the desired position within the list.
Release the mouse to place the tag in the new order.
Move Tags Across Groups (If Applicable)
If tags are grouped, you can:
Drag a tag from one group and drop it into another.
A visual indicator (highlighted area or line) will show the drop location.
Changes Are Auto-Saved
No “Save” button is needed.
Once you drop a tag into a new position or group, the changes are automatically applied.
Notes
Reordering tags affects how they are displayed in drop downs, filters, or tag clouds.
Only admins permissions can reorder or move tags.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
Drag handle not visible | Ensure you have permission to edit tags or check if reorder mode is enabled |
Tags not moving | Try refreshing the page or check if the tags are locked or system-defined |
Group move not allowed | Some systems restrict tag movement across certain categories |
