Understanding Roles & Permissions in Cliquify

Cliquify has five user roles that control what each person can create, approve, and share. This guide helps platform admins and team leads assign the right role to the right person.

Role Details

What each role is designed for and what they can do.

Admin

Best for: Global EB leads, Marketing Heads, TA Leaders

Full platform control. Sets up brand governance, manages users, and owns all content and settings.

  • Manages all users, roles, and access

  • Creates and controls all templates and brand assets

  • Configures brand kit, settings, and content policy

  • Can share content across all channels

Admin + Approver

Best for: Regional Brand Leads, TA Heads, Marketing Managers

Everything an Admin can do, plus the ability to approve or reject content before it goes live.

  • All Admin permissions

  • Reviews and approves content submitted by Creators

  • Acts as brand quality gatekeeper before external sharing

Creator

Best for: Recruiters, TA Specialists, Marketers, Designers

Builds campaigns and content within brand guardrails. Cannot share externally without approval.

  • Creates, edits, and manages their own templates

  • Builds campaigns and assets for roles, regions, or hiring needs

  • Must submit content for approval before external sharing

Creator + Approver

Best for: Team Leads, Senior Recruiters, Regional Marketing Managers

Creates content and approves their team's submissions. Ideal for lean or high-velocity teams.

  • All Creator permissions

  • Can approve or reject content from assigned team members

  • Can share approved content externally

User

Best for: Employees, Hiring Managers, Brand Ambassadors

Accesses ready-to-use, pre-approved content for sharing. Drives employee advocacy at scale.

  • Browses and uses approved templates

  • Shares content internally and externally

  • Cannot create, edit, or approve content
